INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK

13-16 May 2019

ABOUT THE STAFF WEEK

The University of Szczecin is organizing the Staff Training Week for the 6th time. This year we have designed it for administrative and didactic staff responsible for international issues.
We are going to focus on Internationalization at home. A couple of presentations will be provided by colleagues from our partner universities willing to share their know-how on that matter.
There are plenty of programs offering funding schemes and support for internationalization of HEIs. However, many of us working in IROs or responsible for international relations still have the feeling that more can be done.
What can we do to raise the awareness of the need for internationalization? How is it possible to involve others in international projects? How to communicate this need to the authorities? How to cooperate with different departments?
During our Staff week you will have the opportunity to discuss the above mentioned issues. You will get some tips regarding project design and implementation from experts with hands-on experience. Additionally, we will present you with some cases of valuable projects.
See you in Szczecin!
