Incoming staff teaching mobility (STA) within the Erasmus+ KA131: formal procedures

  1. General information:
    • The staff eligible for Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching (STA) is the academic staff employed at a partner university recognised by competent authorities in a third country not associated to the Programme who have met the selection criteria regarding staff mobility for teaching (STA) according to the rules set out by the home university and the Erasmus + Programme Guide.
    • A teaching mobility period can only be carried out on the basis of a valid inter-institutional agreement (IIA) between the home HEI and the relevant faculty of the University of Szczecin (USz). The IIA regarding staff mobility for teaching must be signed prior to the submission of the application.
    • The duration of staff mobility for teaching (STA) is minimum 2 days and maximum 2 months.
    • Staff mobility for teaching can be carried out within a given academic year.
    • The minimum number of teaching hours is 8 hours per week or any shorter period of stay. If the mobility lasts longer than one week, the minimum number of teaching hours for an incomplete week should be proportional to the duration of that week.
    • The USz does not provide the incoming staff with any scholarship for their stay.
  2. Application procedure:
    • The application should be submitted via DreamApply system (DA).
    • Submitted applications are processed by International Exchange Coordinators. Within 10 working days the relevant coordinator contacts the applicant to agree the content of their teaching programme.
    • MOBILITY AGREEMENT: STAFF MOBLITY FOR TEACHING (MA) – approved by the applicant and their home institution – is a required application document, to be uploaded into the DA application.
    • The application is accepted once the relevant coordinator approves the uploaded MA.
    • The applicant is informed by the relevant coordinator about the acceptance/rejection of their application through the DA.
  3. The obligation to complete the procedures necessary for obtaining a visa and insurance lies with the incoming staff. Upon request, the relevant coordinator provides all the documents necessary for the visa procedure (e.g. an invitation letter).
  4. After the mobility:
    • the relevant coordinator issues and signs a certificate of attendance to the incoming staff,
    • the relevant coordinator uploads the scanned/electronically signed document to the DA within 5 working days from the end date of the training.

Formal procedures regarding a teaching mobility period (STA) at the University of Szczecin within Erasmus+, Key Action 1, Mobility of Individuals in the academic year 2021/2022

  1. The staff eligible for Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching (STA) is the academic staff employed at the partner university in a programme country holding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) or at the recognised by competent authorities partner country university who have met the selection criteria regarding staff mobility for teaching (STA) according to the rules set out by the home university and the Erasmus + Programme Guide 2021.
  2. A teaching mobility period (STA) can only be carried out on the basis of a valid inter-institutional agreement between the home HEI and the relevant faculty of the University of Szczecin. The agreement including staff mobility for teaching (STA) must be signed prior to the submission of the application.
  3. The duration of Staff mobility for teaching (STA) is between 2 days and 2 months.
  4. The minimum number of teaching hours is 8 hours per week or any shorter period of stay. If the mobility lasts longer than one week, the minimum number of teaching hours for an incomplete week should be proportional to the duration of that week.
  5. Staff mobility for teaching (STA) can be carried out between 1st October 2021 and 30th September 2022.
  6. The application should be submitted via DreamApply system. By identifying their home institution the applying staff are referred to the valid inter-institutional agreements of the relevant faculty. Their applications are processed by the International Exchange Coordinators in charge of staff mobility. Within 10 days the relevant Coordinator contacts the applicant to agree the content of their teaching programme. To complete the application, the applicant uploads their MOBILITY AGREEMENT-STAFF MOBLITY FOR TEACHING (STA) approved by their home institution to their individual account in DreamApply. The application is accepted once the International Exchange Coordinator confirms the programme set out in the MOBILITY AGREEMENT has been approved. The applicant is informed by the Coordinator about the acceptance (or rejection) of their application through DreamApply.
  7. The obligation to complete the procedures necessary for obtaining a visa and insurance lies with the incoming staff. However, upon request, the relevant International Exchange Coordinator provides all the documents necessary for the visa procedure (eg. the Invitation Letter).
  8. After the completion of the teaching mobility, the incoming staff member receives a Certificate of Attendance signed by the relevant International Exchange Coordinator. The Coordinator is obliged to upload the scanned document to DreamApply.

  1. The staff eligible for Erasmus+ staff mobility for training (STT) is the academic staff employed at the university in a programme country holding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) or at the recognised by competent authorities partner country university who have met the selection criteria regarding staff mobility for training (STT) according to the rules set out by the home university and the Erasmus + Programme Guide 2021.
  2. A training mobility period (STT) of the incoming staff does not require a valid inter-institutional agreement between the home HEI and the relevant faculty/institute of the University of Szczecin.
  3. The duration of Staff mobility for training (STT) is between 2 days and 2 months.
  4. Staff mobility for training (STT) can be carried out between 1st October 2021 and 30th September 2022.
  5. The application should be submitted via DreamApply The applying staff should identify the type of mobility (STT) and their home institution, as well as the relevant faculty/institute. Their applications are processed by the International Exchange Coordinators in charge of staff mobility. Within 10 days the relevant Coordinator contacts the applicant to agree the content of their training programme. To complete the application, the applicant uploads their MOBILITY AGREEMENT-STAFF MOBLITY FOR TRAINING (STT) approved by their home institution to their individual account in DreamApply.     • A training mobility period (STT) does not require a valid inter-institutional agreement between the home HEI and the relevant administrative unit of the University of Szczecin (USz).
    • The duration of staff mobility for training (STT) is minimum 2 days and maximum 2 months.
    • Staff mobility for training can be carried out within a given academic year.
    • The USz does not provide the incoming staff with any scholarship for their stay.
  2. Application procedure:
    • The application should be submitted via DreamApply system (DA).

  3. The obligation to complete the procedures necessary for obtaining a visa and insurance lies with the incoming staff. Upon request, the IRD (contact person for STT mobility) provides all the documents necessary for the visa procedure (e.g. the invitation letter).
  4. After the mobility:
    • the head of the hosting administrative unit issues and signs a certificate of attendance to the incoming staff,
    • the hosting administrative unit sends the scanned copy/electronically signed certificate of attendance to the IRD (contact person for STT mobility) within 5 working days from the end date of the training,
    • the IRD (contact person for STT mobility) uploads the scanned document to the DA.

  2. A training mobility period (STT) of the does not require a valid inter-institutional agreement between the home HEI and the relevant administrative unit of the University of Szczecin.
  3. The duration of Staff mobility for training (STT) is between 2 days and 2 months.
  4. Staff mobility for training (STT) can be carried out between 1st October 2021 and 30th September 2022.
  5. The application should be submitted via DreamApply system. The applying staff should identify the type of mobility (STT) and their home institution, as well as the US hosting unit. Within 10 days their applications are forwarded to the hosting administrative units by the contact person in charge of staff mobility for training (STT) at the International Office (STT International Office officer). The hosting administrative unit contacts the applicant to agree the content of their training programme. To complete the application, the applicant uploads their MOBILITY AGREEMENT-STAFF MOBLITY FOR TRAINING (STT) approved by their home institution and the hosting administrative unit to their individual account in DreamApply.
  6. The obligation to complete the procedures necessary for obtaining a visa and insurance lies with the incoming staff. However, upon request, the STT International Office officer provides all the documents necessary for the visa procedure (eg. the Invitation Letter).
  7. Upon completion of the training mobility, the incoming staff member receives a Certificate of Attendance signed by the Head of the hosting administrative unit. The hosting administrative unit is obliged to send the scanned copy of the Certificate to the e-mail address of the STT IO officer within 5 working days of the end date of the training. The STT International Relations Departament Officer uploads the scanned document to DreamApply.
  8. Due to the dynamically changing situation regarding Covid-19 individual mobility to International Office (job shadowing) will not be carried out in the academic year 2021/22 . However when the situation allows training staff event might be organised, which would be separately announced via web site and staffmobility.eu platform.
